Jerusalem’s Raash Records presents RVA 02 - The 2nd installment in its compilation series with 19 new tracks from various label members and associates, bringing forth the contemporary sounds of their hometown underground while keeping a strong connection to its roots, with artists ranging all the way from veteran sonic terrorists such as Black Chama, Meira Asher and Latifa Punk to youngbloods being heard here for the very first time.
The aesthetics of these recordings shift from ambient noise to sludge, dub-techno , Post-Punk , Experimental Hip Hop and Industrial with a coherent and consistent sense of urgency and unrest.
In its core, this is a snapshot from the collective consciousness of sworn individualists. The sound of an urban tribe.
